Westminster Abbey + English audioguide
Visit the must-see place in London!
As one of the world’s most magnificent churches, Westminster Abbey is a ‘must-see’ when taking a trip to London. This paragon of British architecture contains a great deal of fascinating history.
The church hosts the shrine of St Edward the Confessor, the tombs of monarchs and myriad memorials to other great and famous people. Westminster Abbey has been the focal point for every Coronation since 1066 and 16 royal weddings; the last being the union of Prince William and Kate, The Dutchess of Cambridge! It is also still used for worship and other national celebrations.
The marvellous 700-year-old building welcomes over one million visitors every year. Westminster Abbey is open to visitors from Monday to Saturday all year round; unless of course there is a special event. On Sundays and religious holidays the Abbey reverts back to being used for worship only.
